50 destruct News:50 Cents Album Before I Self Destruct Leaked

rapreviews.com

On Wednesday October 28 50 Cent’s “Before I Self Destruct” was leaked almost a month before the release date November 23.

This album is full of rugged staunch hard hitting hardcore hip-hop which has been missing from the hip-hop scene as described by Wes Fif, who shows up numerous times on 50′s CD.

There are particular beef at other rap artists, such as The Game who is said to be a jealous punk and Young Buck a drug addict. Hey its not hot unless beef is involved.

Featuring artists begin with Eminem in the track ‘Psycho’  killing ‘em dead in that and Wes Fif in the track ‘Death to My Enemies.” Not to forget,  Ne-yo and R. Kelly are also doing their thing on the album.

This is a must hear, get it or get lost.

Details are scarce but news is Lady GaGa and Beyonce are in the process of collaborating for B’s song “Video Phone.”  I can only imagine what these two Divas are going to come up with, but I have a gut feeling it will be different from what they have ever done.

As stated from MTV.com, Gaga explained in an interview with New York’s Z100 radio station on Tuesday morning (October 27) “When I was doing her (Beyonce’s) video with her, she called me and she said, ‘What do you want to do?’ ” GaGa replied “‘I don’t want to show up in some frickin’ hair bow and be fashion Gaga in your video.’ I said, ‘I want to do you.‘ ”

Fans have to be psyched at this new musical collaboration and video.

album “Tomorrow” on September 22, 2009. The album has two singles out, “Fire Burning” and “Face Drop” where you can hear on QWTJ LIVE INTERNET RADIO, but both are very electrifying songs that would bring anyone to the dance floor. The lyrics and the music flow in to one another making a sound filled atmosphere of reggae or island music. Big Ups to his producers on the album J.R. Rotem, who Kingston frequently shouts out at the beginning of some tracks “J.R.!!! What a gwaan!” Got to Love it. The album reached its high of #37 and now is #84 on the U.S. Billboard 200 albums chart with 13,000 copies sold. The album should have sold more, because Kingston’s music is full of excitement and the lyrics are touching and simple for anyone to understand. The album may have suffered such low ratings because Kingston’s sound does not change, it is quite similar to his first album.

Fire Burning” the 3rd track on the album is a really hot song that just makes you want to get up and burn up the dance floor. Kingston explains in the song how shawty is on fire from the way she moves and wines her body, “My pocket started tickling/The way she drop it low, that thang/Got me wan’ spend my money on her, her.” The song is a club favorite with its techno reggae up-tempo beat. Kingston has a very melodic voice that reminds me of Jamaica or some kind of beautiful Caribbean island having a midnight luau, dancing under the moonlit sky. Track 7 “Island Queen” especially makes me feel like I am in Jamaica slow wining to the calypso and the sound the drums. Kingston skillfully explains in his lyrics the setting of the song “Ooh girl, you got me thinking ’bout the island breeze/ Them palm trees and kissin’ underneath the moon/ Oh baby girl, you need some water/ Your body’s getting’ hotter, the sweat drippin’ off of you.”

If you like reggae and the island breeze then take that ride on this album you will enjoy every track, because I did. The tracks are not that long and drawn out but have the simple, and touching refrains, bridges, chorus and down beats. A lot of the songs are pretty up tempo but there are others that are slow paced such as “Magical” in this song Kingston lyrically explains to his girl that even though there is ups and downs in their relationship their love is magical. A very slow and embracing song for those out there that feel like everyone oppose your relationship; you and your love have to know your love is Magical. I would advise you to purchase “Tomorrow” this is a really hot album and those that are in relationships or have crushes or just love reggae this album is something you could relate to. The album is the same as his previous album where he has put together the Island-flaved, R&B sound.

DJ Tiffiny J’s Ratings: $ (worse)- $$$$$ (Best)

Overall: $$$- Album seems to sound the same as his previous album with mixtures of reggae and R&B.

Favorite Track: The best tracks of the CD in my opinion would have to be “Face Drop” and “Island Queen”

Could Have Skipped it: All songs were complied successfully, would not skip any track.

Buy or Burn: Go out and buy this one if you love the sound of Sean Kingston.
