9. Kanye West
He almost did not make the list because of that Taylor Swift stunt. A rapper has first got to be respectful before they can be considered the best, but I can’t lie Kanye is thight. He lyrics are killer.
8 Eminem
He murdered it in “Forever”. Found myself listening to his verse over and over. Now, we hear Relapse 2 is coming out this year and know we have something to wait for this year. Eminem will always make a QWTJ LIVE list.
7. 50 Cent
“Have a baby by me, gurl and be a millionaire.” I can’t lie I hate when the song comes on but still find myself singing it. 50 Cent is a King in his own way and has made a big name for himself in rap.
6. Snoop Dogg
What my name? Snoop Dog! Give it up for the Godfather of Rap. No one does it like Snoop Dog and many can not stay around the rap game as long as he has. Enough said.
5. Young Jeezy
Alot of people are overlooking this man when it comes to the rap game. But Young Jeezy is not going anywhere. So give him the respect he deserves.
4. Jay-Z
Who run this town? Nothing left to say. Jay-Z will always remind us who’s the best.
3. Lil Wayne
He is about to head to prison, but we do not think that will stop Lil Wayne from keeping his name in the game. Everyone will know all about Young Money before 2010 is over.
2. TI
TI is out and back on the grind after a year in prison. He is ready to take his place on the top again. I mean he has to have some great material saved up, what else is there to do in jail. We look forward to hearing from TI.

2009 was Drake’s year, no doubt about it. The man killed the year. He might be new, but Drake has set the bar. His voice along has changed hip hop, and his album has not even hit. That alone tells us that this is Drake’s year.
