TCL Corp., the Chinese user electronics company, has rolled out its series of Google licensed Android 4K UHD smart TV range for 2017. Dubbed as P2M and C2, the smart TVs are rolled out in India. While the C2 range will comprise a 65-inch display size TV with a price tag of Rs 1,09,990, the P2M range will comprise a 55-inch and a 65-inch TV with a price tag of Rs 62,990 and Rs 99,990, respectively.
Both P2M and C2 will be offered on Amazon India for pre-booking, beginning August 9, 2017, till August 15, 2017. By the end of September 2017, they will also be on hand in the majority of TCL online stores and other offline stores as well. As a fraction of an extraordinary roll out offer, the firm is giving a 24-inch and 32-inch TV free with the purchase of 55-inch and 65-inch, TV respectively.
Both TVs arrive with Google licensed Android TV, which is particularly optimized for the units to take pleasure in a big screen of high resolution entertainment, states the firm to the media at the time of launch. This gives admission to Google content comprising Games, Google Play Store, Movie & TV, Music, Voice Search, and Google Cast. In terms of specifications, the TVs arrive with a dual core Mali T860GPU, 1.5Hz quad core A53 CPU paired with 16 GB internal storage and 2.5 GB DDR3 RAM. The new range has Dolby & DTS technology and Harman Kardon speakers. Both P2M and C2 have DTS decoding that allows lossless decoding of audio and makes an affluent acoustic-field by duplicating the live-studio recordings sound, states the firm.
Speaking on the roll out, Country Manager of TCL Multimedia, Mike Chen, claimed, “The new TV series from the company is a latent game-changer in the sector of smart TV. Both P2M and C2 have wonderful features to offer our users a brand new experience in viewing the TV. Beginning today, our new merchandizes will be solely available via Amazon. In a time of a month by September, our merchandizes will be presented in our offline and online stores as well.”
