The tech major and smartphone manufacturing giant Sony has rolled out a new “Wena” watch dubbed as “Three Hands Square”. The new watch comes along with a non-compulsory leather band. This new watch adds up in the ‘Wena’ series line of the semi-smartwatches of the company. The device is mainly aimed for female users.
The highlight of the new watch is its leather band that, unlike the current steel bands, does not come with lights for LED notification but comprise of NFC connectivity for the purpose of wireless transactions. The watch, on its own, is a tad bit of less smart. It is obtainable in 3 lug sizes—20 mm, 18 mm, and 22 mm. The company has commenced trading steel bands individually, giving customers more modified options.
The company has also stated that later this month the steel strap and body of the Three Hands Square watch will be going on sale in its home ground. On the other hand, the leather band will not be obtainable till later this December. The body has a price tag of JPY 10,380, while the leather and steel bands are associated with a price of JPY 8,380 and JPY 33,880 in that order.
The company lately commenced introducing the Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system update to its Xperia Z5 Compact, Xperia Z5, Xperia Z4 tablet, Xperia Z5 Premium, and Xperia Z3+ handsets. The update allows customers launch applications straightly from the home screen, paired with various other features. It not only brings Android Security patch to June 1, but also brings the build number of the devices to 32.4.A.0.160. The update introduction is spread out and will strike all nations ultimately.
The company lately rolled out a latest music player dubbed as WS623 Walkman as well. The device has both NFC and Bluetooth support. The IP68/65 rating also makes it water and dust resistant. The latest Walkman player weighs 32g and arrives with waterproof ear buds.
Well, it seems that Sony is busy launching its products one after another and the Three Hands Square watch of the Wena series is the new addition to this list.
