AAI (Airports Authority of India) has made an entry into planned alliances with Uber and Ola that will offer travelers the alternative to employ these cabs at selected aerodromes.
As fraction of this planned alliance, both Uber and Ola will fulfill traveling need of travelers at the AAI-run Kolkata, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune, and Bhubaneswar airports, a release claimed this week. “This association with Uber and Ola shall also smooth the progress of air passengers to employ a cab via the booking kiosks situated at the airport itself. This will lower the harass of moving out or waiting for such app-operated cabs,” the AAI claimed to the media in the release.
Guruprasad Mohapatra, Chairman of AAI, claimed that involving in top cab service players such as Uber and Ola is a decagons to guarantee harass-free commuting and provide enhanced services to air travelers in the nation. The Uber UPI incorporation allows users to even generate UPI IDs utilizing the Uber app. Users can pay for their Uber ride straightly from the application.
