Indigo is offering the tickets at Rs 1126 for the Delhi–Jaipur route and Rs 1549 for the Jammu–Srinagar route. Indigo had last week offered tickets for Rs 1111 for destinations including Goa, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, and Guwahati. But, the IndiGo bookings portal showed the tickets on August 15 from Delhi to Jaipur to be priced at Rs 1924.
Even the Virgin Atlantic has decided to offer 30% discount on the return flights to the U.K. from only three cities present in India on the special occasion of Independence Day. This airline offers the Independence Day sale from August 11, 2017, to March 31, 2018. The 30% discount will be applicable to the Upper-class cabins, Premium Economy, and Economy class. The airlines basically want to attract passengers as it is the festive time with many holidays lining up one after the other.
