Everyone will be aware of Triumph Motorcycle performance in the Indian market looking at the great growth prospects. The premium motorcycle maker has decided to start with eastern region of the country. It has recently opened its first outlet in Orissa. It has 18 dealers across the country and plans to expand the numbers to 25 by 2022.
The automaker made its entry in India three years back and within such short time span it has become one of the leading premium motorcycle brand and ranks in the top three listing. Triumph is now targeting the eastern part of India.
Its first premium motorcycle showroom was opened in Bhubhaneshwar, Orissa. It is also its first dealership in a pilgrim city. It has planned to setup its next showroom in Goa in coming months.
“The inauguration of the dealership will fortify Triumph’s gazebo in the eastern region of India and elongate the network of our complete collection of after sales services. The customers of Triumph are not just owners of the vehicles but are also active riding enthusiasts. They not only go on long bike expeditions but are also aware of how to make most of it from the motorcycles. We will continue to present the riders with superior riding experience with most advanced ergonomic and technology,” said Vimal Sumbly, managing director, Triumph Motorcycles India.
Triumph has partnered with Shri Bharat Motors for setting up the dealership in Cuttack, Pahal region of Bhubaneshwar. Jayprakash Didwania, Main of Dealer said, “We are pleased and honored to be a part of such globally-established brand. Focusing on the growth of Triumph Motorcycle, it has managed to sell 4,072 motorcycles in India since it has started operation in the country in 2014. It deals in five different segments in which Bonneville and quintessential classic types are among the top sellers.
Recently, it had launched its Street Triple S in 800CC motorcycle segment in India and it projects to increase the dealer’s network by 2022.
