Reliance Jio has shattered the telecom market since its launch. Each and every other telecom company has become restless and are trying its best to cope with the rising issues. The companies are launching new plans on daily basis to contend with the pressure in the market. Initially Airtel and now it is Vodafone, India’s second largest telecom company, is preparing to roll out a free data and call pack.
Yes, the postpaid users of Vodafone will be soon availed with a new plan of worth Rs 786. Users who would subscribe to this plan will be provided with unlimited free STD and local calls. Users should not forget to note that since last year Vodafone has already made roaming calls free. Thus, subscribing to the plan of Rs 786 will enable the users to enjoy free call, roaming as well as national.
In March, the company had even rolled out Rs 346 recharge plan for its postpaid users only. Under this plan, the users were provided 28 GB data with a 1 GB FUP and unlimited free calls. The plan, known as “Vodafone Delight,” was launched with a statement, “Vodafone users are different as are their needs. To fulfill these different wants and needs, Vodafone provides several segmented plans. This is one such segmented proposing and will be valid only until March 15.”
So we can assume this new Rs 786 plan to be ultimately an expansion to the Rs 346 plan, as it was only usable until March 15. Vodafone is on the heels of Airtel that launched a 30 GB free data plan recently for its postpaid users to match the competitive plans of Jio.
Even in April, Vodafone had announced 4 GB free 4G data with a validity of 10 days. Within this plan, the existing Vodafone users are provided 4GB of 4G data on their 4G handsets when they update to the SuperNet 4G network of the company. The plan is available in Kolkata, Mumbai, Delhi, and 14 other Vodafone-circles across India. The 4G SIMs of Vodafone are obtainable at Vodafone Mini Stores, Vodafone Stores, and even at the multi-brand stores in the above-mentioned cities.
