Smart Hackathon 2017 is a non-stop 36 hour long competition based on digital programming during which student squads from all over the country will battle to provide ground-breaking keys to scientific issues that are being faced by 29 of the most popular and well known departments of Central Government.
An overall of 7,531 teams from across the nation had presented thoughts from over 2,100 institutions of technical branch out of which 1,266 squads have been selected for the Grand Finale of the two-day Smart Hackathon 2017.
Sri Krishna College of Technology and Engineering is one of the 26 important centers across the nation to arrange the event.
Every nodal centre will symbolize special union Ministry, with Sri Krishna College characterizing Ministry of Forest and Environment and Climate change, the principal of the college, J Janet announced publically today.
Projects such as ticket checking system in civil aviation ministry, retailer-farmer interface to avoid middlemen in the processing of food ministry, checking of soil, steel, and water quality in man-animal conflict and respective ministries, enhancement of transport facility and road in surface transport ministry, will be some from the many projects on the card that will be showcased in the event, she said.
The event will start from Delhi through video-conferencing by Prakash Javadekar, Union HRD Minister, on April 01, 2017 and S P Velumani, Tamil Nadu Municipal Administration minister, and K P Anbalagan, Higher Education minister, will contribute.
Narendra Modi, Prime Minister of India, will act together through videoconferencing with the students on the night of April 01, 2017, she said.
