The Taiwanese manufacturing company HTC officially launched its flagship smartphone HTC U Ultra in February 2017. Well, recently the smartphone has been in talks. A YouTube video showing the smartphone is been going viral. The smartphone goes a bend test in this video. Let us first have a look at the specs of the smartphone and then discuss about the video.
The new HTC U Ultra phone provides a 5.7-inch screen with full HD Super LCD5 capacitive touchscreen display. The screen also has a pixel ratio of 1140 x 2560 along with a pixel density of 513 ppi. The screen has a protection of Gorilla Glass 5 as well as a 69.7% of screen to body ratio. The phone is fueled by a Qualcomm MSM8996 Snapdragon 821 processor coupled with 4 GB RAM as well as a GPU of Adreno 530. The phone also has 64 GB/128 GB internal memory that can be expanded to 256 GB via Micro SD card.
In the camera section, the rear camera is of 12 MP power along with f/1.8 aperture, 26mm, OIS, laser & phase detection autofocus, and dual-LED (dual tone) flash. The new HTC U Ultra smartphone has 16 MP of front camera for proper selfies. The phone is supported by 3,000mAh battery that is capable of giving 312 hours of standby time and 26 hours of talktime. The device runs on Android 7.0 Nougat. In terms of connectivity, the phone offers 4G, Bluetooth, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, 3G, FM and GPS.
Launched in February, the phone is priced for Rs 59,900. It comes in four color variants—cosmetic pink, brilliant black, sapphire blue, and ice white.
Well, the video by the YouTuber named JerryRigEverything shows the phone’s rear portion breaking into pieces when it undergoes a bend test. Well, this video is already becoming viral. Hope this does not hampers the sale of the smartphone.
