A student pursuing engineering and a graduate from the same stream made a fraud and duped an online commerce company for Rs 1.05 crore along with 152 costly smartphones. They did this fraud by claiming that the delivery made by firm had empty delivery boxes. The e-commerce firm they tricked was none other than the online shopping giant—Flipkart.
The crime was committed in the state of Rajasthan and the local cops said that they have arrested the guilty. Rahul Meena, age 20 is the guy who has completed his B.Tech, and Dharamraj Meena, age same, is an engineer from Jaipur city.
The company has logged an official complaint against the two and the cops have started the investigation after arresting the duo. When brought in court, they were sentenced on six-day remand for time being. The court will decide the punishment for them in the next hearing when the cops will have some solid proof.
Earlier, Manoj Chudhary logged a complaint of fraud on September 24, 2016.
These two culprits had been ordering online mobiles with various names and IDs along with fake addresses. Further, they used to take a refund from the company by saying the boxes were empty. They have been doing this since last 1.5 years.
With the money from the fraud, they have been leading an expensive and a lavishing life with various luxuries.
So friends, be careful from such fraudsters. It is because of such people, the country is setting on a back foot. Let us all decide to bring such crimes to an end.
