Giant computer company, HP Inc has recently announced that it anticipates cutting 3,000 to 4,000 jobs over the next 3 years. It is said to be taking the step with a hope to save up to $300m annually. It has also mentioned the below expectation earning guidance for next year.
HP split into two businesses last year one named HP Inc, which focuses on printers and computers and Hewlett Packard Enterprise, which will focus on data storage. The job cuts come amid the decrease in the sales of computers all around the globe.
According to research company Gartner, PC shipments declined 5.7% in the third quarter of 2016 as compared to last year. HP has in the past seen decline in the profit and has already had tens of thousands of job cuts in recent years.
