The Chinese smartphone maker Lenovo, one of the slowest companies when it comes to updating its own products has now rolled Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for its Vibe S1 smartphone is India. Anuj Sharma, the Head of Product and Marketing, Lenovo India shared this news on Twitter.
Once the new software will be ready to download and install, users will get pop up notification for the same. This update is around 1.6 GB and it would be better to update your Lenovo Vibe S1 with Marshmallow on a Wi-Fi connection.
So far, this update was seen in UAE (United Arab Emirates) and now in India. Lenovo plans to launch the update soon in other territories too. The Vibe S1 will automatically pop out the notification once the update is ready to be downloaded and installed.
Also, make sure that you update your smartphone’s content before installing the Marshmallow update on your Vibe S1. There might be chances that some of your precious data might be lost in this update. Also, switch the default storage to the device.
