That’s right – Condoleezza Rice and the Queen of Soul came together Tuesday night to perform in Philadelphia at a gala benefit for the Mann Center, home of the Philadelphia Orchestra.
Rice played the piano for several selections, and Franklin and Rice closed with a duet of “My Country Tis of Thee” and “I Say A Little Prayer for You”.
