Both Kelly Rowland and Ciara have pushed back the release dates for their albums. Rowland’s self-titled album to be released through Universal/Motown was originally slated for a September release, but has now been pushed back to mid-fall. According to the former Destiny’s Child member, she’s still recording in the studio and wants to make sure everything is absolutely perfect.
Ciara’s album, “Basic Instinct”, produced in part by The Dream and featuring Ludacris has been pushed back to October 5th. She was set to make an announcement on UStream as to why the album has been delayed, but that announcement was also pushed back.
On another note, it’s been rumored that 50 Cent’s new album, “Black Magic” may be scrapped altogether; apparently 50 isn’t feeling the dance tunes on the album since returning to the States from Europe.
