This morning actor and rapper Ice-T was arrested in New York while on the way to a veterinarian’s office with his wife Coco for his bulldog’s knee surgery. Ice was pulled over by an officer for not wearing his seatbelt, and was arrested for driving on a suspended license.
He was processed at the 10th Precinct in the Chelsea neighborhood and was released. Ice took to his Twitter account immediately, stating, “Some punk bithc rookie cop named Fisher #10026 made the arrest of his bullshit career today. Arresting the Notorious Ice T for no seatbelt.” Throughout the day Ice continued updating his Twitter, often regarding the arrest. At one point he states, “Honestly the fact that it made national news in 10min. raises the question…How petty is our new today? What about the War and the Gulf?” He ended his comments about he incident by pointing out that he doesn’t have a suspended license and has never had a New York state license. He says, “I have a valid NJ license. It was all bullshit.”
Maybe the Office Fisher has some beef with Ice about all those raps about killing cops in the early 1990s, but then again, he’s also played a cop on “Law and Order:SVU” for the past decade, maybe that should be enough to redeem him by now.
