Dionne Bromfield may be the tender age of fourteen but her vocal range rivals that of her godmother Amy Winehouse. Bromfield, based in London, was the first artist signed onto Winehouse’s Lioness label in September 2009.
Her first album, “Introducing Dionne Bromfield” was released the following November. Bromfield seems to have a fondness of 1960s girl-group songs; she’s covered “Dancing in the Street”, “Mama Said”, and “Ain’t No Mountain High Enough”, among others. Bromfield is definitely and up and coming artist to keep your eyes on over the next few years.
