Djuan Keila Trent, Berea College graduate is the new Miss Kentucky! Trent, 23, was named Miss Berea Area in 2009.
Her platform for the pageant was “Homelessness Prevention: A Hand Up, Not A Hand Out”, and her talent for the pageant was a performance of the song “Up To The Mountain”. Trent will represent Kentucky in the Miss America 2011 pageant at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino is Las Vegas on January 15, 2011, which will be televised live on ABC.
