Rihanna and Andy Samberg’s Saturday Night Live digital short “Shy Ronnie” has been nominated for an Emmy Award for ‘Outstanding Original Music and Lyrics’.
Samberg has gathered a large fan base due to his Digital Shorts on Saturday Night Live and other exposure he has had with his band, The Lonely Island. “Shy Ronnie” aired on December 5, 2009 on season 35, episode 8 of Saturday Night Live.
The 62nd annual Primetime Emmys will air live on NBC on Sunday, Aug. 29, from 8-11 p.m. ET. Jimmy Fallon will host.
